Year round cultural events, such as Artstravaganza in August and the renowned Sundance Film Festival in February, bring a wide selection of international travelers to Park City, creating a cosmopolitan vibe not often found in this part of the country. Comfortable temperatures invite visitors to explore the scenic outdoors, play golf, fish, or look for wildlife. And as per rock climbing There are literally hundreds of routes in this area, largely in the canyons. Some routes have bouldery elements, others are all about cracks, sometimes large enough to squeeze hands entire into. The granite and the limestone can have a very different feel under the hands, so if you’re used to one, go careful on the other initially.

Horseback riding
They also have horseback riding (walking horses only), a basic putt putt course, shaved ice stand (many choices of syrup toppings), an area for younger kids, and most of the shops and cafes are open as well. You can also rent or bring your own mountain bikes and take them up the lift to the top of the mountain to ride down. These are not paved roads, but the riders we saw handled the paths without much problem.
Toboggans and more
All of us rode the lift all the way to the top and walked halfway down to the Zip line area (you can get off at the Zip line area on the way up if you don’t want to walk back down). Tough walk so don’t try it if you have bad knees (Guilty!) or physical impairments. Three of us tried the Zip line, a lot of fun and not as scary as you might think, once you get out of the gate. Long ride down but comfortable and fun. Our 13 year old rode the Alpine coaster, basically a toboggan on wheels that rides down a track, and he enjoyed that.
The views
During the summer you can do a lot of things in this resorts, but one of the most fantastic it’s only enjoy the views, as I mentioned in my last post it’s spectacular. You can forget everything when you see something like this. Everything changes.
Royal Holiday Resort
There is an assortment of activities for summer in this Royal Holiday resort, the whole family had a great time. The older kids enjoyed the bungee jump and alpine coaster. My little one had fun on the carousel and the airplane ride though both do show signs of wear. She even braved up to go on the alpine slide (which required riding the ski lift). My brother’s family rode the sky lift up to the top and walked around for a while. The views are quite spectacular. If you go there for special dates, they might have a special deal on tours and trips for everybody to enjoy in this place.
