Home sweet home!

Friday night with my friends was excellent!! We had good laughs and they love my holiday stories!! They loved the pictures and they loved Mexico…then I told them I was going back and they just couldnt believe it! I took my resort guide with me and decided to go back home!!! This time I will visit a place called Playa del Carmen!! It seems to be a very cute and lovely place with the Mexican touch. The hotel I will be staying at is called Hacienda Vista Real, one of the best hotesl of course!!! The villas there look just amazing!!! The hoteal features a gourmet restaurant, a pool, a pool bar, beach club, golf course, kids club and parking. It also has an impressive SPA, the largest in the Mayan Riviera, they offer 25 treatment cabins, Jacuzzis, Zen garden, Vichy Showers and a gym. This place is located 13 miles west to Cozumel Island. It is imperative that I visit the Chichen Itza Ruins, Coba, Tulum, Cenotes and caves, Isla Mujeres and Cozumel of course!! Cant wait to get there!!! I need more research and then make my reservations!!! I am a new man !! Something exciting to look forward to again!! Arent I lucky???? Have a good one!! Will talk to you soon!! 

You wont believe it!!

Yes, you wont believe it!! Yesterday, there was a raffle at work…the first prize was to have a week off in November!! the second prize was to have 5 days off and the third prize was to have a weekend off…guess what?……..I won!!! I won a prize!!! which one???  I won the second prize!! 5 days off!!! Will you believe it???? Someone is looking after me!!!!! Someone knows I have worked very hard this year and deserve another break!!!!!!  I am over the moon!!!! I still look at my Cabo pictures with a bit of a feeling though!!! It was such a nice holiday…… Now I have something else to look forward to, isnt this incredible??? 5 days off in November!! And and and..where shall I go?????  You might think that I have a lot of money…..becuase I am thinking of going back to Mexico…..but no….that is not the case….what happens is that I have a wonderful membership which allows me to travel wherever I have dreamt of……I have made many decisions in my life…good decisions….and one of them its definetely having purchased a membership with Royal Holiday…….OK……off I go!!! guess where?? to glance through Royal Holidays web page and dream away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Will be with you soon!!!! 

Dont even ask!

But I need to stay positive!! I think I will sue Royal Holiday for “strong after holiday blues” :( What a silly thought!!! It is just so fantastic that it becomes painful!!! I have great memories of San Jose del Cabo, Mexico…..as you know, I just came back!!! While I was sourrended by a beautiful scenario…now I am sourrended by scanners, PC’s and people talking about budgets and goals……What happened to my lobster thermidor??? and all the nice people I met at the Park Royal hotel?? WAKE UP!!!!!!!    My friends blues is worst than mine!!!! One of them didnt even come to work!! The other one is inmersed in his emails as to a way not to think……that is clever!!! And me, just moaning like a little old grandma!!!! I keep on telling myself that the time will come again and that for now, I need to work hard in order to receive my prize!!!!! I really want to cry!!!!!! Still, I am sure you understand, when one spent a great holiday in a great place the last thing you want is to come back to reality…….still……It was nice to see my dog again…..and my neighbours!!! We are to have dinner on friday night so I can live it all up again……I wonder how good that would be for me…??? Ok….if you dont hear anymore from me is becuase I am depressed…….Hell no!!!!!!! Need to be strong!!!! ok….bye for now!! 

Countdown….

I know I musnt be thinking about it but…what can I say….reality check is here   We are in the middle of cooking this great lobster…it has so much meat in it!!! it smells delicious!!! We have invited a couple we met at the market, they are to bring wine and a salad!! My friends are taking a shower while I watch Mrs Lobster!!!! It has really been a delightful holiday I must repeat!! I am truly enchanted by Cabo, the place is simply gorgeous!!! The hotel staff are simply the best!!! I have managed to relax and my mind is at peace again!! Great feeling right??? Clear thoughts and lots of energy!!! My friends simply loved Mexico and Royal Holiday, they are very impressed!!! One of them will be buying a membership tomorrow….they are thinking of splitting the cost  between themselves but I think each should buy their own…….we shall see……Need to go….my turn for a shower is here….I so much look forward to this dinner you have no clue!!!!….Hasta la vista!!!!

Cabo highlights

Cabo is such an enjoyable place!!! It is very small but so chic!!!! Nice people, nice places and nice food!! We have been around a lot in the mornings, we have been to La Playita, to the Sanctuary, biking hiking and kayaking. The Cabo San Lucas Arch is so pretty, we have sailed there almost every morning! It is a shame that we wont be able to enjoy whale watching as these creatures migrate from the Bering Strait down to Baja California Sur between January and March of every year

We must come back next year to enjoy the Cabo Jazz Festival which takes places every July!! Fishing has been our main activity, it is so pleasant to fish in this waters, waking up early every morning to get the nice morning breeze…….I wish I could live in this place, maybe I will retire here…we shall see. In the mean time, we are off shopping, we are to cook lobster thermidor tonight!!!!!! Arent you jealous????….ok….until next time!!!

Still here!!

Yes,  we are still here!!!!!  I dont think my boss will be too happy, I was supposed to go back to work tomorrow but I am having such a great time and I needed this holiday so bad that decided couldnt leave. We changed our flight tickets to Sunday morning, called Royal Holiday in order to extend our stay and here we are!!! I had no problem extending our hotel stay, the staff has been fantastic and the locals are delightful to chat to. Our experience in the market was awesome!!! If you could only see the amount of fresh fruit and vegetables and the variety!!!! The amount of fresh fish and sea food is amazing and they taste delicious!!!! Cooking was great fun too!!!! I am really happy we managed to stay on…….I shall go now and walk around the town, we just had lunch and feel pretty full….shall get back to you shortly!!! I love Cabo!!!!!

So close and yet so far…

We are having a very nice time here on our way, we are listening to music, writing emails and there is me, wanting the world to know how happy I am !!! So much to enjoy and to see. A new place for my list of vacation resorts, how exciting!! I cant wait to prepare a nice shrimp cocktail and enjoy it with a really cold mexican beer. Chat to the locals and see and feel the place. I read that at this time of the year it is pretty empty so that is nice too…the whole place to ourselves!!! People reccommended me to cook fish but Mexican style….also I need to try their vegetables and fruits, they say those are the best things Mexico has…..so full of flavour and color and so fresh!!! I also look forward to walking on the beach, bear foot….it is the best!!…Ok friends….I am off but I am sure I will be talking to you soon!! Chiao!!!

Cabo, here we come!!

We are on our way and I cant explain to you the joy that I feel. Finally away!!! no work!!! no returning to the house all tired and feeling blue. Just the fact that we are to catch the plane in a few minutes gives a total different meaning and feeling to my life!!! I am soooo looking forward to this trip that just the fact of being here at the airport is already helping me relax!! You know that feeling right???? My friends are also very excited as it is their first time travelling to Mexico…..I know they are going to love it!! they might not even want to come back!!! They might even buy a Royal Holiday membership just as it happened to me when travelling with Michael and Claudia…….oh well….my time is up…need to board the plane…..SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!

Getting ready!!!

Yes, the time has finally come, we are to leave to Cabo shortly….we are soooo excited!!!! Just thinking about that nice weather, the food, the beach, the hotel!!!!! makes me so so happy!!!!!  Park Royal Los Cabos seems to be a really nice place, well located too! It should take us about 45 minutes to get there from the airport, there will be some Royal Holiday staff waiting for us although, we also plan on renting a car. The main town is only 5 minutes away from the hotel, I cant wait to walk around and learn about a new beach destination!! We are to stay for 5 nights!!! isnt it just great???? Ok…let me keep doing stuff here and will be back with you soon!!  Soooo happy!!

Cabo is the place!!

Yes, we already made bookings for Cabo. The place is not that crowded and we have our kitchen to cook in!! We are so much looking forward to it!!! The hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzis and the room has a terrace overlooking the golf course… we are also only 5 minutes away  from San Jose, where we are planning to go shopping for food!! The whole place seems very peaceful and that is exactly what we are looking for!!  We are also planning on doing some biking and hiking too!!! Love the idea and look forward to it sooooo much!!!
