Cancun and Cabo are easily my favorite places in Mexico to visit/hang out/relax/enjoy spending time. Don’t get me wrong, the other spots are VERY nice, such as, Ixtapa, Acapulco, Vallarta… (sigh) I’d love to visit each of them but time just doesn’t allow it…c’est la vie. If I ever had the chance to travel for a couple months, I’d definitely start with Mexico and all it’s beaches…although I don’t think I’d make it much further, I’m afraid…LOL! It’d take some planning, but with some foresight and discipline (to the itinerary), I bet I could do it…with Carrie though, I’m not so sure…she’d plop down in Cozumel and never leave. 
If I did it, perhaps my first stop would be Cabo. I know, one week may not be enough but, I’ll have to try to do everything within that time…visit Todos los Santos because Carrie loves traditional places and I have actually never been there. I have read it is a beautiful Mexican town and is only around 1 hour drive from San José; then, I could go to Isla Guadalupe again.
